Clerk to the Governing Body
£15 - £20 per hour, subject to review
At Cedars Manor School, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and competent clerk who will support the school on its journey from good to outstanding.
The successful applicant will be responsible for advising the Governing Body on constitutional, procedural and legislative matters. In addition, they will attend meetings and prepare the minutes and agendas for Governing Body Meetings. In total the Clerk will attend 24 meetings per year (8 meetings every term). The post holder will need to be flexible with regard to working hours and days which will include some evening work.
The successful candidate must have excellent organisation, communication and ICT skills, as well as an ability to take accurate minutes at meetings. We are committed to providing professional development and training to improve the quality of clerking services, including full participation with Governors and Clerk’s forums and other events.
