Hot Meals and Homework

🍽️📚 Hot Meals and Homework Club – In Partnership with Akshaya Patra UK
Mondays (Years 4, 5 & 6) | Thursdays (Years 1, 2 & 3)
Time: After school until 4:30 PM | Free of charge

 

We’re excited to launch a new initiative at Cedars Manor School — the Hot Meals and Homework programme, in partnership with the award-winning charity Akshaya Patra UK.

This enriching after-school programme combines two key elements:

  1. A free, hot, healthy meal prepared by Akshaya Patra's top-rated kitchen in Watford

  2. Homework and learning support, delivered by school staff in a quiet, focused, and supportive environment

 

Why this matters:
We know some children face barriers to learning at home — such as lack of space, resources, or support. This club offers a solution by giving children a calm, well-equipped space to eat and study, helping to improve both wellbeing and academic confidence.
