The Duke of Cedars

At Cedars Manor School, we are passionate about providing our pupils with a broad range of life experiences. The Duke of Cedars Award delivers a range of exciting opportunities, equipping pupils with the essential life skills to support them through their school journey and life beyond.


Pupils will complete a number of activities within the following four categories; Physical, Skills, Volunteering and Expedition. Over the course of our pupils’ school experience, they will complete and achieve four awards, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each award will be completed over a 2-year period, as set out below. Children’s achievements are recognised at the end of each academic year with a certificate. Children will be awarded a badge representing the award they have completed at the end of the 2 years.
