Culture Day
Dear Cedars Manor School Community,
I am delighted to announce our upcoming Culture Day at CMS on Thursday 13th February, a celebration of our diverse and vibrant community. This Thursday, pupils are encouraged to attend school adorned in clothes or colours that represent their identity beyond our school walls. Traditional dress, heritage-specific clothing, or items of cultural significance are all welcome; however, please note that football kits will not be permitted on this day.
We cordially invite parents and carers to contribute food from their culture, heritage or backgrounds and join other parents for afternoon hot drinks together from 14:30 - 15:00 for a tasting session, where we hope you will sample an array of foods representing our families' diverse backgrounds. Come along with your dishes and allow others to sample and an opportunity to meet others. Please remember that we are a nut free school. Your participation in this event is greatly appreciated, as it reinforces our belief that our diversity is our strength. By celebrating each other and coming together, we foster a sense of unity that is paramount to our school ethos.
